Hello, World

I’ve spent close to thirty years building and running infrastructure, from broadcast TV master control to satellite ISPs to cloud platforms, SaaS products, and hardened enterprise architecture. This blog is where I’ll write about the parts of that work that don’t fit neatly into a resume bullet: the architecture decisions that didn’t pan out, the incidents that taught me something, and the tools I keep coming back to.

A quick note before any of that: names, companies, and enough identifying detail get changed or left out that none of this traces back to a specific employer or person. The lesson survives that. Who it happened to doesn’t need to.
