New character and status update

I've been off work for the past two days. Apparently I've gotten what seems to be a bit of vertigo. Nothing as severe as my last bout, thankfully, but frustrating and overly irritating none-the-less. I'm going to make an attempt to go back to work tomorrow. I called Neal today to see if I could come back to minimal duties, which he said was fine. I just can't stand staying around the apartment all day long. The walls start closing in on you.

Now, with that said, I've had some spare time to work on the comic a bit. I've gotten a new character created: my mother. She told me to create a character for her after she saw the one I had done for Michael and myself. The only point that she made was "make it good". Well, I have hopefully done just that. Here she is:

The "Phyllis" character puts me up to a total of five unique characters thus far. I'm hoping to get together a total of 10 before it's all said and done with. I think 10 people will give me enough diversity to create tons of story lines.

Speaking of story lines, I'm debating finding a writer for the comic. It's one thing to be able to draw the comics, but it's an entirely different deal to create the stories that the comics are based on. Sure, I have a few good ideas to start off with, but keeping them coming on a continous basis might be a difficult thing to do.
