I Hate Hard Days

Today was what you'd call a "challenging day". You know what I mean ... you work your ass off and look back on the day and wonder what you have to show for it. You wonder if anyone even really cares about what you did to help make their lives better ... and come to the conclusion that they obviously don't.

Thankfully not all days are like this one.

Despite the bad day, there were a few silver linings to the dark cloud. I found out today that people respect me as a worker and a human being. I also learned that everyone watches everything that happens, even when you think that they're not. Best of all, I learned that there are people in this world that will stick their necks out for you when someone has done you wrong.

I would like to note for the record that despite my bad day, I kicked butt and took names on a few projects that I've been wanting to get done for a while.

I'm hungry. Time to go find something to put in my belleh.
